Epoxy Flooring Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Work

Bellepoxid provides epoxy flooring systems, resin coatings, sealing systems, decorative coatings, and related floor finishing services according to the agreed quotation.

2. Quotation Validity

All quotations are based on visible site conditions at the time of inspection or based on customer-provided information.

If actual site conditions differ, additional costs may apply.

3. Surface Condition Responsibility

The customer is responsible for informing Bellepoxid about:

  • existing cracks

  • previous coatings

  • moisture problems

  • hidden defects

  • unstable substrate

  • contamination

  • oil penetration

  • chemical exposure

Hidden defects discovered during work may require additional treatment.

4. Surface Preparation Requirement

Proper surface preparation is mandatory before epoxy application.

Bellepoxid determines the required preparation method depending on floor condition.

Additional preparation work may be necessary if substrate condition differs from expected.

5. Adhesion Limitation

Epoxy adhesion depends on substrate condition.

Bellepoxid is not liable for adhesion failure caused by:

  • hidden moisture

  • rising humidity

  • unstable concrete

  • weak substrate

  • contamination inside concrete

  • old hidden coatings

  • structural movement

6. Moisture and Humidity Risk

Moisture inside concrete may affect epoxy performance.

Even when surface appears dry, internal moisture may later cause:

  • bubbling

  • delamination

  • whitening

  • lifting

Bellepoxid cannot guarantee substrate behavior caused by internal moisture beyond visible testing conditions.

7. Cracks and Structural Movement

Existing or future structural movement may cause visible cracks through epoxy systems.

Bellepoxid is not responsible for future structural movement of the building.

8. Color and Visual Variation

Minor differences in:

  • gloss

  • shade

  • texture

  • flake distribution

  • light reflection

may occur and do not constitute a defect.

Drying and curing depend on:

  • temperature

  • humidity

  • ventilation

  • substrate condition

Use before full curing is prohibited.

10. Customer Protection Duty

The customer must prevent:

  • water exposure

  • dust contamination

  • impact

  • heavy loading

  • chemicals

during curing period.

11. Mechanical Resistance
